“I believe communication is the base of all behavior. As a child, behavior is a means of communication, and it is my job to help both children and families how to meet that need in a healthy, positive way.”
Antonia Calabrese has worked with children and adolescents in various settings including: schools, behavioral health centers, substance abuse treatment facilities, early intervention programs, and with children in the foster system. She completed her graduate internship hours at Memorial Child and Family Therapy and Fort Bend Juvenile Detention Center.
Antonia Calabrese graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Illinois State University before moving to Houston, where she studied Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Houston Baptist University, graduating with a Master’s of Arts in 2019.
Antonia practiced under Michelle Collins as a practicum student during her graduate studies. Here she learned it was her true passion to help children, teens and families live their most empowered and connected lives.
