Dellissa considers herself an eclectic therapist. She adopts interventions from various therapeutic modalities to best suit her client’s needs, while utilizing a person-centered approach.
Dellissa has a wealth of experience working with children and families in various settings such as healthcare hospitals, schools, and community centers. She has always been passionate about working with children, as she comes from a long lineage of educators and mentors who inspired her decision to become a therapist. She believes that play is an invitation into the child’s inner world, empowering them to express their feelings organically.
Dellissa completed her practicum and internship at Family Houston working with children, adults, families, couples, and adolescents.
