“Therapy is meant to model a smaller and safer world in which the client can heal, learn, and grow without fear of judgment or making mistakes along the way.”

McCayla started her practice in a clinical faith-based setting where she gained broad experience working with older children/pre-teens, adolescents, families, and individuals. She is passionate about therapeutic intervention for children and adolescents, using creative interventions to explore emotions and build rapport.

She believes art is a form of play in which a person of any age can become more self-aware and express themselves freely. When McCayla is not working with clients in the office, you can typically find her working on a creative project or painting!
